the importance of family.

Posted in Uncategorized on June 28, 2010 by zabetheli

life is short and im not going to just leave things – im going to take opportunities and seize the moment.

i guess hitting twenty has made me come out of my teenage years where i was sort of anti social and would prefer to hide in my room than a room of my mother and her friends or family and that i have finally come back to the stage in my life where i want to know them again. i want to be there, i want to be around them and get to know them for myself not just by what my mother says about them. I want to know the small things about my family and find out how we got to where we are now, spend my whole day with them and I want to know the little stories they have to tell about themselves and the stories they have about the people i know, my family members and especially my father. i have realised family is really important to me.

today i found out my familys tartan, which i find pretty cool ::

today i also spent my afternoon with my nieces ::

this is sarah my niece that i simply adore. can you blame me?

Supanova 2010

My first supanova ever. Basically Sydneys version of Comic-con. I dressed as Death from The Endless in Neil Gaimans Sandman.

I just watched the Labryinth today at Sheryls house, directed by Jim Henson with David Bowie as the goblin king has made it an instant classic. With awesome puppetry and a clever storyline, I enjoyed it very very much 🙂

“For my will is as strong as yours, and my kingdom is as great. You have no power over me.”

Day 9: Twenty Days

Day 9: A picture of you when you were nothing but happy.

Its hard to pick just one single photo of where i was nothing but happy because i can think of so many. But i will include this photo for the time being. My tea party with my girls, where i sent out invitations via snail mail, and had a good excuse to buy all these different teas and tea cups, where i sat there happy with the weather absolutely perfect, where people were getting along and we ate cup cakes till our tummys were full. i adored this day. and looking at this makes me want to do it again. very very soon.
