Twenty Days: Day 2

Day 2: A picture of you in one of your favorite outfits.

One of my favourite outfits…

1. My combat boots that are not quite doc marten but remind me of Daria boots.

2. My dark blue blazer with gold nautical buttons

3. My first vintage dress i purchased at my favourite vintage shop Cream on King St. Its a winter dress with long sleeves, a white collar and well its dark blue.

I have a thing with clothes in dark or navy blue and I’m not really sure why.

This is a photo of me and corso somewhere in Surry Hills. I’ve spent the last two days there and I think I have found one of my new favourite places.

All these cute cafes where people read and drink coffee and tea, where people walk there pampered orange poodles, where there is all these cute little shops with awesome stationary and stamps, where the light bulbs are in birdcages, where the local thai place has a weaved egg shell seat hanging from the ceiling, where there is the most amazing vintage shops that will make any girls wardrobe jealous, where they have organic fruit drinks and an amazing local public school.

This is my sort of place. Funny how its taken me so long to actually decide to go there. It seems like everyone has told me, Elizabeth you just must go to Crown St and I realised I have gone to Surry Hills just not really Crown St and when I did it was without really realising it which i have gone down a few times (obviously not further enough!).

Its nice to make your own little discoveries as well and its more nice to have good company that gets excited as much as you do when you find something.

My dearest friend Rania got a Nikon D90, much thanks to her boyfriend for their 2 year anniversary. So she came over and we took some photos of er.. me. haha. i am not used to being the subject in the photo at all. Yay for me being awkward and all ^_^ btw im still working on her getting a blog, its a little tricky but my persuasive powers will rule!!
